The project connects archival research with predictive modelling. The hard part is preventing information from the future from leaking into the past and distinguishing signal from changes in archive coverage.
System design
The following structure makes the project concept inspectable and defines the implementation to demonstrate.
What would prove it
Predefine one target and a historical cutoff, train only on earlier material and evaluate on later data. Repeat with a simple baseline and report missing-capture effects.
The next complete milestone
The first meaningful result is a reproducible experiment, including a negative result if the signal does not outperform the baseline. A broad autonomous forecasting platform follows only if a narrow hypothesis survives testing.
